Value Overlap Single Door Apex Shed
Value Overlap Apex Wooden Garden Shed
The Value Overlap Apex Wooden Garden Shed offers the ideal storage space for those with smaller gardens. This small garden shed is ideal for storing everyday gardening tools, such as small lawn mowers, rakes and other gardening tools.
The walls of this shed are constructed using overlapping timber boards that are attached to a strong internal frame, to create durable and robust panels. This building is complete with thick wooden internal framing to support the overlap panelling, creating a rigid, long lasting structure. This shed also comes with oriented strand board (OSB) flooring and roof. This solid sheet board is manufactured from several layers of tightly compared oriented strands, ideal for every day use and general storage whilst being budget friendly. This shed is also windowless, an ideal option for those wanting to keep their belongings out of view of prying eyes.
Apex Roof
Featuring a high apex roof-line, you’ll find there is plenty of headroom inside, ideal for storing taller items or utilising your shed as a workshop with plenty of space for spending hours tinkering away.
All Fixtures and Fittings
High quality roofing felt is supplied to protect your garden shed from the elements and provide longevity. In addition to this, all fixtures and fittings are supplied as standard, including our comprehensive product instructions helping you install your new shed as quickly and easily as possible.
Security
All our overlap sheds come complete with Z-braced doors and a turn button giving you a blank canvas to add on your own lock of choice.
Shiplap vs. Overlap
Overlap and Shiplap are essentially two different types of shed cladding. Cladding is simply the covering of your building. Overlap cladding is in the name, the boards overlap one another to create a traditional and rustic look. The overlapping design allows rainwater run-off and ensures your belongings are kept dry from the rain. This watertight design will protect from the wet British weather, however overlap cladding isn’t airtight. This means your shed could be susceptible to draughts and moisture.
Shiplap cladding consists of multiple boards of timber which create a flush panel. Shiplap cladding features a recess at the top of the individual boards which helps water run-off, offering protection against the elements. Not only is shiplap cladding watertight like overlap cladding, but it also has the added benefit of being airtight, meaning belongings are much less at the risk of draughts and dampness. This means shiplap sheds are an ideal choice if you intend on spending time in your shed, as a workshop for example, or are planning to store items that could not risk coming into contact with any moisture. Another added benefit is its aesthetically pleasing smooth exterior, coupled with smooth interior panels, creating a high standard of finish both on the inside and outside of the building. This gives a more premium feel to your garden.
